Le système monétaire archaïque et périmé

C’est sur ce malheureux constat que le Système d'Échange Local est né, d’abord outre atlantique, puis en France, en 1995. Il y a maintenant des Système d'Échange Locaux un peu partout dans le monde, dont plus de 300 sur notre territoire la France.

Mais, concrètement, un SEL, c’est quoi ?

Un SEL reconnaît les compétences que le marché du travail capitaliste oubli.
Il soutient et valorise les échanges, génère autonomies, activités et solidarités.

C’est un groupe de personne qui (s')encourage et plébiscite les échanges de biens, de connaissances, de savoir-faire et de services entre ses membres et adhérents. Ces échanges s'effectuent de gré à gré de façon multilatérale.
